You know the Solidarity Project were we collect funds for an association : Concern.
Till nowadays we've collected for Concern : 336.25€ aka $456.02
In the World...
"An estimated 25.000 people die from an effect of hunger everyday. That's about One person every four seconds."

The Project is coming to and end : on October 17th.
To gather more funds for Concern some deviants gave some of their art for an auction.

- How the auction works?
- Auction begins NOW and will end on October 17th 2008 (GMT 00:00 timezone).
- Bid by noting ME.
- Under you'll find Each items you can buy. Under each items you'll have to read the minimum bid you should place, the description and you'll have a link to directly note me with the amount of the bid you want to place.
- Each bidder should note karemelancholia with the subject line "Solidarity Auction Bid". In the body of your note you should write the number of the Item you're bidding for, the thumb, and the amount. I'll reply you to let you know what the next bid amount is.
- Bid in WHOLE $ (USD) AMOUNTS (no comas as $1.50 bids).
- Only bid if you are going to pay!
- Payments are made via Paypal.
- Shipping is free.
- At the end of the solidarity auction bidding (October 17th) I'll (Kare) note each winner, you'll have to pay to the FundsForConcern paypal account. Once done you'll have to give your postal address, and i'll then send a note to the donor to send you the item.
- Nothing will be sent before payment!
- If you did not won the auction or do not want to bid you can still donate to the paypal account directly : fundsforconcern@yahoo.com

Contest - Inner Beauty
By inner beauty i mean what is hidden. Because even the most ugly being or thing has beauty inside.
Come, show us what is hidden, the stick gilded under the bark!
Explain us in your description how you deal with the "Inner Beauty" concept in your creation!

It's not only valid for humans, it can be the nature, an object etc. There is Inner Beauty for each thing aroun dus! just discover it and show it to us all!
Judges : 
Deadline : November 24th 2007. Rules : 1) Medias allowed : ALL medias are allowed - that means : digital (painting, drawing, photomanips, vector, vexels, 3D, etc.), traditionnal (painting, drawing), literature (prose & poetry), photography, anthro, comics, fan art, mangas, etc!!!
2) 1 entry max per deviant!
3) The entry must be made for this contest only (In your description you must link to this contest - journal entry).
4) If you use stocks you must use at least 2 stocks from these stockers, not both from the same stocker, and you can use additional stock(s), if you want (If you use stocks they MUST be mentioned and linked in your description) : UnicornReality, WanderingSoul-Stox, lindowyn-stock, Helewidis-stocks, unholy-stock, Bnspyrd.
5) No explicit porn nor hatred deviation!!
6) Your Entry must fit the theme (give explanations how you imagined the theme).
7) Contest entries must have been made after the begining of this contest - october 1st!.

Make a DonationA few things you should know first.
1) CSS coding is here only to customize the look of your journal. It will change as you want the colors of your font, backgrounds, borders etc, and the size of you font and some links behaviour.
2) So knowing this, where you type your journal (text area) if you used any html tags for font size such as (without the spaces) < sup > or < sub >, delete them.
3) When you'll get the code i've made for you you just have to edit your journal, look at the bottom and click on 'css beta', a box appears, paste my code here.

(keep in mind that it must NOT be the same than your bg...)

4) Links :
For special effects.
- color change when you pass you mouse over the link? (yes/no)
- the size of the font (caps or not) change when you pass you mouse over the link? (yes/no)
- the weight of the font change (bold) when you pass you mouse over the link (or the reverse)? (yes/no)
- the appearance of your cursor change when you pass you mouse over the link? (yes/no)
